Kannada Sangha Pune celebrated Teachers Day in avery grand way on 5th September in Shakuntala Auditorium.This being Golden Jubilee Year Of Kaveri Group of Intitute enthusiastic teachers of all the seven institutes participated and enjoyed this very important day.
Theme for the year was Golden memries of Bollywood music.
It was agrand event by teachers who danced to old hindi songs with great skill.
Small skit about classroom woes,A radio Kaveri Station and dances to tunes made many spectators to dance along with.
Shri Kushal Hegde,President welcomed all teachers and praised theiir hard work,Mrs Malati Kalmadi,Secretary addressed the teachers and read the pledge.Mrs Indira salian,Vice President,Mr Babu rao,Treasurer,Dr Chavre,Adminstrative officer,Mr Ramadas Acharya,PRO were present during the celbrations.Mrs Radhika Sharma, trusteeCompered the event.Mr Ashwin Shastri gave an impressive talk about education and systems.Head of the all Institutes and teachers expressed their gratitudes.

Kannada Sangha Pune during it’s Golden Jubilee year of Kaveri group of Institues has planned many cultural events.
On Sunday 1st September It has organised a Hindustani Classical concert named “Ranga Malhar” A unique tribute to famous Kannadiga Hindustani Singer Late Pt Mallikarjun Mansoor who was one of the few Hindustani singers contributed varities to many hindustani classics.Even during the last days of his life he gave aconcert in Raga Malhar in Akashavani Dharwar stright from hospital bed!
This programme Ranga malhar dipicted various form of Malhar’s in a totally different background withdispaly of various seasons like monsoon,nature in vedio screen.Famous Sarod master Biswajit Roy Chowdhary on Sarod and Priyadarshini Kulkarni on vocal,Ajinkya Joshi on Tabla,Suhrad Munde on Pakvadya and Chinmaya Kolhatkar on Harmonium entertained the crowd with full house appaulse inShakuntala Auditorium of Kannada Sangha.
Entire music loving Pune people along with Kannada Sangha members enjoyed this eventful evening.

Hon Shri Sadananda Gowda,former Chief Minister and present leader of legislative council,Govt Of Karnataka visited Kannada Sangha Pune on auspcious 67th Independence day of India 15-08-2013.He was received by President Kannada Sangha Shri Kushal hegde and managing trustees.He was taken around Kaveri Group Of Educational Institutes at Ganeshnagar.He was welcomed and felicitated by Shri Kushal Hegde with a Puneri Pagdi,Shawl and a Golden Jubilee momento.
Mr Ramadas Acharya,PRO gave a brief introduction of Shri Sadananda Gowda and activities of Kannada Sangha and Kaveri Institutes.In his reply Mr Gowda appreciated the Kannada Sangha and Kaveri Institutes and congratulated the management and members for doing such an excellant job outside Karntaka.
Mrsalati Kalmadi,Secretary,gave vote of thanks.Along with the Chief Guest and President of Kannada Sangha Dr Narayana Hegde,Vice President,Mrs Indira Salian,Vice President,Mrs Malati Kalmadi.Secretary and Shri Babu Rao,Treasurer shared the dias.Hon Trustees,Heads of Institutes,members,heads of Various Kannada and Tulu associations of Pune and students attended the function in large numbers.
