Recently a Kannada drama titled “Shirdi Shri Saibaba” was played by
artists of famous K.B.R.Drama Company,Davanagere,Karnataka.
This well known story depicting the life of Shri Saibaba was very well
played by the troup consisting of more than 35 professional artists
,few of them are TV and Cine artists in Kannada.
Eye catching settings,touching acting by actors with full of real life
story of great saint mesmerised audience at newly renovated auditorium
of Kannada sangha,Erandavane.Incidentally this is the first
professional drama played in this newly renovated auditorium during
the Golden Jubilee year of Kannada Medium School.
President,Shri Kushal Hegde along with Mrs Pushpa Hegde,Trustees,Mrs
Radhika Sharma,Dr Balajit Shetty,Mr Chandrahas Shetty,PRO-Ramadas
Acharya,attended the event.
A felicitation was held for the artists after the drama,President
Kushal Hegde felicitated all the artists.Ramadas Acharya gave vote of
Kannada Sangha,Pune has been awarded prestigious “Rajyostava Award” during the year 2005.Incidentally it was the beginning of Golden Jubilee year of formation of Karnataka State.
The award was conferred to Kannada Sangha,Pune in recognising it’s contribution towards Quality Eduucation,Contribution in spreading culture of Karnataka,and contribution for social activities in Pune and bringing cultural harmony among Karnataka and Maharstra and appreciating it as one of the best Kannada Sangha outside Karnataka in India.
Award was consisting of a Gold medal,Sandalwood Garland,a Silk shawl and a Momento cum Certificate embedded in Golden sheet.
This award was received by Shri Ramadas Acharya,Hon Trustee & Joint Secretary on behalf of Kannada Sangha,Pune and presented by Hon.Chief Minister Shri Dharam Singh,Hon Deputy Chief Minister Shri M.P.Prakash and Director,Kannada and Culture,Mr Muddumohan, of Government Of Karnataka.
During the Golden jubilee year of Kannada Sangha’s Kaveri group of Institutes a memoriable wedding event was held for Dolls by tiny tots of Pre Primary school on 19th March 2013 with lot of Punjabi vigour and enthusiasm.
Right from Invitation card, decor, songs, greetings, back grounds, music, dance, dress and food are all in Punjabi style.
Kannada Sangha Management with help of Head Mistress Mrs Neena Rai and her team very meticulously tried get the new breed to know and understand our own heritege,culture and history from their tender age.
This has proved positive effects in our all the Institutes as a totally different culture in education.
